The Mountain Experience
Moody Mountain Solar was born in the spring of 2020 out of a desire to provide a more personalized solar design and installation experience. Working with Moody Mountain, you’ll have a single point of contact with our NABCEP certified owner/system designer who will also be on site during the full installation process. Our goal is to offer a premium service at a reasonable cost and maintain a neighborly sense of community in the process. Whether you’re looking for a simple grid-tied array or a full island micro-grid, we’re here to help.
Cory Alexander, owner
After spending 15 years in the boat-building industry, Cory settled in Maine where he met the love of his life, Jess. Having lived off-grid in port and at sea the better part of his adult life, off-grid living on land was the logical next step. The two of them now call an ever growing homestead and farm at the base of Moody Mountain home where they raise 3 kiddos, a dog, a cow, 2 sheep, and 13 chickens. A longtime proponent of solar energy, he installed his first 15-watt panel back in 2001 and has never looked back. At Moody Mountain, Cory designs, installs, and perhaps most importantly answers questions!
